ACMA History
ACMA just celebrated its 50th anniversary as an organization in 2024. The officers prepared a history of the organization that captured the reasons behind its founding and what it has come to mean to its nearly 550 current Fellows. Former Executive Director Bev Levy was retained to contact Past Presidents for memories and stories, research through ACMA’s files, unearth articles written in conjunction with its 10th and 30th anniversaries describing the founding of the College, and locate other historical information. ACMA then retained a professional writer with experience in capturing histories to pull the archival material together into a cohesive document.
